WTN: 2001 Lynch Bages

Great meal with good friends. This was the WOTN! Beautiful dark color. Great aromas of dark fruits and earth. I could have sniffed it all night. Lots of nice tannins and fruit up front with great earthiness underneath. This was still a young wine. I love 2001 Bordeaux.

I agree! WOTN indeed. De-lish. All elegance and class, deep inky purple color, with cassis, graphite, and tobacco on the nose. A second bottle of that would have been nice. :D
