Flew to Edinburgh yesterday from Luton on one of EasyJet's new A319 Airbuses...... very quiet. Last time I flew into Edinburgh was on one of the noisy Trident aircraft.
Went to St Andrews to see a client. Most of the town was shut or being repaired. Checked to see if the golf course ( the Old Course ) is still there.
Found a late lunch at the Tailend Fish Restaurant in Market Street.......... whitebait to start, then battered haddock with great chips, proper peas ( not mushy ) and tomato ketchup with a pot of strong tea. Nice lunch, haddock wasn't flaky, good stuff. All for £15.
Recommended if you're in that area of the world, golfing or not.
