Ye Gods: Hamburgers and Temporomandibular Dysfunction

If you thought the Bubonic Plague was bad; if you were concerned about the Red Death; or if you have simply been terrified by thoughts about Nile Fever, put your fears aside and take on a new one. Sent to me by one of my faithful correspondents, an article reporting on how eating super-large hamburgers can damage your jaw. See the article at http://web.orange.co.uk/article/quirkie ... er_dangers

As for me, I'm not quite sure what a super-large hamburger might be but my favorites weigh in at 350 grams, are set on a bun together with Romaine lettuce, raw or sauteed onions, tomatoes, cheese, bacon and whatever sauce strikes my fancy at the moment.
