In olden days newsboys would hawk at the top of their lungs: "Read All About It". Well, the time has come to read once again, this time about a single 128 kilo blue-fin tuna that went for over US$100,000, the fish being divided between two restaurants. The world's most expensive sushi perhaps, but certainly not the first time something like this has happened. As recently as eight years ago a huge blue-fin was bought by the owner of Tel Aviv's Yakimono restaurant. I was lucky...got there to taste two days after the fish had been appropriately prepared. Miracel of miracle, however, the toro of that tuna managed to remain on the menu for a full three months! Go figure how long a single tuna (no matter how much it weighs) will remain at sushi and sashimi quality!!!
