Catit 6 years tasting menus

Catit restaurant is six years old, and for the occasion Chef Meir Adoni is offering two special tasting menus at 195 NIS (~$ 50) per person at lunch or 289 NIS (~ $ 73) at dinner time. For details see http://www.catit.co.il/ . Has anybody tried these?

I have not yet sampled these special menus. I intend to do so in the near future.

In the name of accuracy, however, even though Catit is indeed one of the very best restaurants in the country, the six year figure is a bit misleading. It was six years ago that the restaurant first opened, then in Kfar Ruth. Later, chef Meir Adoni shifted his venue to Kibbutz Netzer Sireni, and only a bit over two years ago did the restaurant move to its current location in Tel Aviv.

The restaurant has been going strong under the same name with the same chef and ever improving cuisine for six years - why care about the address?

Wonderful meal at Catit yesterday, tasting menu HIGHLY recommended. Note that they will substitute or modify dishes if a member of the party has dietary restrictions. Service excellent, food outstanding, overall absolutely worth the splurge IMVHO. The restaurant was very quiet, only 5-6 tables occupied, so the economic situation must be having an effect.

Rogov - do you think it might be possible to get a simplified recipe for Meir Adoni's 'exotic soup' fruit dessert? Absolutely fantastic!
