WTN: Another pinot blanc that can stay

2002 Weingut Harkamp Weissburgunder (pinot blanc)
Sudsteiermark, Styria, Austria $15
I roundly diss pinot blanc as a rule, but I loved this wine. Didn't just like it okay, but loved it. Complex spicy fruit toward the green apple end of things with some sweet green herb notes that I have a difficult time being more definitive about. Underneath, a nice core of minerals and acid but neither was to the fore. Confident, but not loud. Love that kind of balance in a white wine.
