From Chile's Maipo Valley. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Malbec.

Very dark purple in the glass.

Smoke, spicy, sweet fruit on the nose.

Very rich and fruit forward, sweet black cherry and plummy fruit, black licorice, smoky, Christmas cake spices, a bit of heat on the finish.

Pretty good value (in the straightforward, big and fruity wine category) at $14.95 Canadian.
