Valle de Guadalupe, Baja, Mexico.

Decanted.
Dark purple color in the glass.
Black licorice and not much else on the nose.

Peppery, some black cherry fruit, inky, with black licorice. Hard, tannic and rather closed. Not nearly as open and as enjoyable as were previous bottles. With time, the wine became a bit softer and the fruit a bit fleshier.
