Cracked this relic last night:
1. Siduri Pinot Noir Gary'sVnyd/SantaLuciaHighlands (14.1%) SantaRosa 2006: Med.color w/ fair amount of bricking; strong smokey/pencilly/Siduri oak lightly spicy/PN/cherry slight herbal bit dusty/OV slightly tired some complex nose; lightly tart strong pencilly/Siduri oak light spicy/herbal/cherry/PN quite smooth/gentle bit tired fairly complex/oldPinot flavor w/ light smooth gentle tannins; very long strong pencilly/Siduri oak finish mimics flavor; dominated still by the Siduri oak but some herbal/SLH PN fruit still hanging in there; a gentle/smooth PN that's beyond its peak but still offers up some pleasure; a quiet ole lady in the twilight of her yrs but still hanging in there.
