WTN: A White & Two Reds.....(short/boring)

Had these w/ Susan over the weekend:
1. Setzer Riesling Hohenwarth/Weinviertel/Austria (13%; MichaelSkurnik/TerryTheiseSlctn) 2022: Light gold color w/ some small bubbles; strong R/floral/mango/peaches light chalky/mineral/perfumed talc clean/bright/zippy slight Mosel valve oillovely nose;fairly tart/tangy slightly off-dry strong pineapple/peach/floral/mango/R fairly rich/lush attractive bit simple flavor; very long pineapple/R finish that mimics flavor; a pleasant Austrian R but just that & a bit on the simple side; may put on weight w/ a yr or two of age; rather overpriced at $37.00 (SFW&S)

2. Fabien Jouves You F&@k My Wine VdF (11.5%; 50% Jurancon Noir/Malbec; Natural wine; ZevRovineSlctns/Brooklyn) Cahors 2021: Med.dark color; strong grapey/plummy/Mourv-like bit spicy/Rhonish some earthy/coarse/rustic bit CdR-like/Languedoc-like somewhat interesting nose; lightly tart rather plummy/blackberry/earthy fairly rustic/coarse Languedoc Carignane-like flavor w/ modest rough/coarse tannins; long rough/coarse finish that mimics the flavor; a rather rough/coarse/rustic red that resembles a Languedoc Carignane; nothing particularly unique or distinctive about the wine; somewhat overpriced for what it is; bit too coarse for my tastes; overnight it develops a dreadful wet dog fur/sour/oxidative aftertaste that makes the wine undrinkable. $24.00 (KK)

3. Vigneti Massa Terra Barbera (12.5%; PortoVino/Buffalo/NY; EB) Walter Massa/Monleale 2021: Dark color; strong spicy/Barbera/pizza spices/dried Italian spices slight plummy/licorice some earthy/dusty/OV bit rustic fairly classic Barbera nose; quite tart/tangy/somewhat acidic very spicy/Barbera/Italian sausage/dried Italian spices some dusty/OV slight pencilly/oak bit rustic structured flavor w/ ample hard/bitey tannins; very long hard/tannic/acidic finish that mimics the flavor; a pretty hard/rugged/structured classic Piemonte Barbera that needs age but may never come around; great price at $17.00 (KK)
$17.00 (KK)

More didderfluck from TheBloodyPulpit:
1. Jurancon Noir, a cross between FolleBlanche & Malbec, is a relatively rare grape. Not grown in the Jurancon region, though. This FabineJouves is the most famous wine from that variety & grown in the Cahors region, where it is not a permitted grape, hence the VdF designation.

2. Walter Massa is, og course, the man who revived the Timorasso grape from extinction. His Piccolo Timo, at $24/btl, is one of the best Timos around for the price. I was expecting a bit more from his Barbera. It's a pretty rugged expression of Piemonte Barbera.
