Le Madeleine is a charming French bistro at 43rd and Ninth Avenue in New York City. It's a great pre and post theater choice, and the garden is lovely in good weather.
It has excellent food, and a very good wine list.
It's currently battling to survive in the face of a landlord determined to demolish the building, despite a three year lease with an option to renew for eight years. Please consider signing a petition to help save this landmark.
