Speck's NY Wine Experience: $2,195

Postby Robin Garr » Wed Sep 03, 2014 12:49 pm

Just in from the gang at Wine Speck:

The world of wine gathers for a three-day celebration of fine wine.

Only at the New York Wine Experience can you sit down and taste the world's best wines guided by the estates' owners and winemakers. All seminars are moderated by Wine Spectator senior editors. You'll enjoy outstanding vintages, rare wines from the producers' cellars and top-scoring wines from around the world.

$2,195 per person.

So, who's in?

Is it just me, or does something about a $2,195 weekend of cult wines and Marvin seem inherently wrong?

But it includes entertainment by Chicago!
Somehow I think I'll manage without.

Hey, for the 1% and the Wannabes that constitutes about ten minutes worth of income at best.

Plus, they'll figure out a way to make it tax deductible. And I suppose in some way it impresses the rubes who have their faces pressed up against the glass, looking in with awe as the glitterati are voguing inside.
