2013 Windgap Rose (I believe it is mostly Pinot): Salmon/slightly orange color. Very dry, savory, almost saline. Had it with a salad, and a bit of strawberry with this wine was a pop of flavor. One of my favorite roses right now!

2011 Preston Family Syrah Sirah.
Dry Creek Valley. Blend of Syrah (dominant) and Petit Sirah. 14.1% abv, so relatively lean. Extremely floral and elegant wine with a delicious character. Floral, plum skin, meaty saline (again!) edge. Elegant and amazingly quaffable.
