At The 2014 East End Harvest event (Long Island, NY) they had a very interesting table exhibit- a meat and wine pairing (butcher becomes wine sommelier).

Looked like a fun event, seems the lamb should have deserved more attention. Here, I am always biased to Rioja :D .

What amazed me the most was their “tasting notes” for the meat made me drool!
