by Tom Troiano » Tue Jul 29, 2014 11:01 am

I bought a couple of bottles of this Zin that is unknown to me.

1. anyone have any recent experience? Thoughts/comments?
2. is this something to drink or cellar?

Tom,
Not had this wine in a number of yrs. However....
This is from the famed DeaverVnyd, one of the great vnyds in AmadorCnty. Alas, the Td'O style pretty much
overcomes the inherent greatness oof the vnyd. The wines are rather light, pleasant, stripped of much character or intensity.
Probably not worth cellaring.
But that's just my guess based on zero data points. Hey..I'm a LosAlamos guy...we can make conclusions based on zero data points.

Tom,

Thanks. I build market sizing models (forecasting) so I'm familiar with no data!

I'll give it a try soon and keep my expectations low.

Thanks.
