WTN: nice spritzy Kabinett

by Jim Grow » Sun Jun 29, 2014 8:09 pm

This wine , the 2003 Weingut Josef Biffar Deidesheimer Kieselberg Riesling Kabinett from the Pfalz, was in excellent condition with a medium straw color with bubbles attached to the glass and a slight greenish tint also. The nose and flavors were all about peach with great acidity on the finish and the spritzyness lasted thru the meal and added an appealing note. With an original price on the bottle of $15.99 and 1/2 priced to me, this was quite the deal. abv of 10% and my last bottle.

And sadly they no longer have a US importer.
