This wine, the 2003 Spreitzer Riesling Kabinett from Oestricher Lenchen was wonderfully sound and quite sweet. Reminded me of a sweet style lemonade with good acidity and with a creamy finish and texture. Some viscosity seen on the glass and medium/light straw in color. $9.75 on deep discount and abv of 8.5% a Therry Theise Selection. I'm sure this wine was not perfectly stored so others cellared properly might age a good bit longer.

That`s a good buy Jim, love to see Rheingau notes here on the forum.
Here is an interesting view on the `03 vintage>

The Spreitzer brothers have been doing better each and every year. They are now in the Rheingau elite IMO.
