I was interested in this wine after reading TomHill's notes on it because Arneis is a grape I've only had once before (well, 2 bottles) from the Graziano family. I'm happy to report this wine is everything Tom says it is ( I guess he knows a little bit about wine having followed wine from the very start of winemaking).
Peaches, floral notes, melon, pineapple acidity and mineral undertone all combine into a very enjoyable wine, both with and with out food. I drank this over two nights, with parmesan crusted chicken and roasted veggies (beets, green beans and beet greens) on night one, and tonight with pan sauteed pork chops over quinoa, and steamed bok choy. I drank the last of it wishing I had more.
However, I also got the Vin Gris, the Grenache rose and the Carignan to try before I make another order (with instructions to hold shipment until fall since it's too d**n hot here to ship wine). If Sam Bilbro has done as well with those wines as this one I have no doubt it will be at least a mixed case order.
