This edition of the 19 block, the 2008,is a very fine example of a Cal. Meritage blend and I would love to have enough (3-5 cases) to have this as my house red. Mostly Cab. Sauvignon but with C.F. Merlot, Malbec, Petite Verdot and some Syrah, this wine has LOTS of cassis and abundant cedar and tobacco. Probably better in 4-6 years but very enjoyable now. May be too mainstream and soft for some but I just loved it and wish it was$18 -$20 and not $28.
