WTN: Red Wine With Ice (Cowan)

2010 Cowan Cellars Pinot Noir 'Bennett Valley'
Enjoyed on the patio on a day when 39F felt like the middle of summer compared to where the temps had been. Has gained complexity since our first bottle a year ago, showing more minerality and herbs. Too, it's less strictly cherry and more of a raspberry-cranberry blend. Blind, I believe I'd have guessed New Zealand before California. Delightful for current drinking, but no rush.

From your tread title I thought you were putting the ice in the red wine. That's what I do with most of the red wine I order by the glass that come to the table from the boiler room.
