80% grenache, 20% mourvedre from 60 year old vines. Ruby red, slightly cloudy. Aroma of tobacco leaves and flowers. Medium body, 13.5% abv. Dark cherries, tobacco and earth. No noticeable oak, the wine is aged for a year in 50 hl foudres. Lacks presence in the mid palate. Short finish, with little or no tannic bite. Better with food. Nothing memorable.
