75% tempranillo, 20% cabernet sauvignon, 5% merlot blend from Sardon de Duero. Bright purple color. Nose of red fruit and smoke. Medium body, with dark cherries, plums, tobacco leaves, toffee and cedar. 13% abv. Easy to drink. Nice acidity to keep it fresh. Still slightly tannic, probably better in a couple of years, although not a long term ager. Crowd pleaser, very well done, although maybe lacking personality.
