WTN: Sparkling Ice Wine???

2003 Inniskillin, Sparkling Ice Wine, Niagara Peninsula VQA, Canada, $90 (375 ml). This dessert wine (100 percent Vidal grapes) has intense peach, apricot and honey aromas. Thick and syrupy on the palate, you’ll find a very light sparkle to add interest. Acidity more than matches the sugar load. Flavors are powerful and concentrated, with an endless finish. This will make a nice accompaniment to your holiday foie gras; 91/90.

Now that's enough to get the taste buds watering!

Foie gras and Rieussec are a New Year's tradition with us, but this wine will fill the bill as well.

That is some weird stuff. Interesting. Bottle or tank fermented? And all the sugar never poses a problem?

I tasted the 2002 Inniskillin Sparkling Vidal Icewine back in February. It was great!! Intense flavors and definitely sweet, but with a lovely delicate mouthfeel due to the fizziness. [Is that a word?] This bottle was selling for $74 at our local wine shop.

fizziness. [Is that a word?]

Works for me. It seemed to have the same sparkle as an Italian frizzante.
