WTN: 1995 Gerard Mugneret NSG, Les Boudots, 1st Cru

Embarrassed to say that this is my first fully mature Burg. A student gave it to me a few months ago. Opened tonight with rotisserie chicken with a green pea risotto. What a treat. Mushrooms, truffles and damp earth. Wonderful with the simple meal. This was a Becky Wasserman Selection, and what a great service she has done for Burgundy. Even has hand written numbers on the back label. I'm on the last few sips, Drink up if you are lucky enough to have one, but give it a little air and time to come around.

Richard - I have 2 bottles of the 2010 resting in my cellar. I've enjoyed the base 2008 Vosne Romanee in the past. Maybe not quite at the sisters level, but nice wines.
