Any hope for carrying a bottle of wine on a domestic flight?

I am visiting my sister at the end of the month and would live to bring a bottle of wine to share with her. It's a short Sacramento-to-Seattle hop. I will have a 1998 Corison Kronos that I would love to share with sis!

Also: She lives in Edmonds, so if anyone in the area would like to meet for lunch (March 22, 23, or 24th) that would be awesome, too!

Why would there be a difference between domestic and international? It's fine in your checked luggage either way. But not carry on.

No change in liquid/aerosol rules, so under it's a 2 oz bottle no carryon. :)
Of course you can put in checked luggage
One good thing is that now they won't confiscate a corkscrew due to tiny blade

So I can check it in?

It may be worth it.

No problems with checking at all, Brian. Just make sure that it's well padded to avoid the risk of breakage.

My ticket requires a $50 fee for checking luggage. I'll let my sister try the wine when she visits here next! :(
