Marjan Simcic PinotGrigio (13%; www.GiulianaImports.com) GoriskaBrda/Slovenija 2011: Med.light gold color; strong apple/pear/spicy some mineral/stony/perfumed talc bright/zippy quite attractive nose; rather tart strong apple/pear stony/mineral/chalky/spicy attractive flavor; med.long bright/apple/pear/spicy some stony/mineral/perfumed talc/chalky finish; quite a pretty PG w/ a good balance between fruit & mineral; not a profound wine but very nice drinking and better than most Italian PG. $16.00 (SFW&S)
