This is quite purple. Can't be a Jim Cowan wine. Somebody else has to have made it. Anyway, it doesn't drink very purple, though the fruit is quite ripe, it never teeters over the edge. No heat, and an interesting bitter berry finish really cleans things up well. Nicely done, thought it works well with a burger - decidedly not a "lighter" food.
