Hi,

We plan a 7-8 days wine tour in Spain during the third week in April 2013:

Starting and ending in Madrid

- A couple of days in the Ribera del Duero region, visiting altogether 4-5 wineries
- Another four day in the Rioja region, visiting two wineries a day

Looking for recommendations:

- Interesting, less known wineries who would welcome (in English), a group of 6-7 wine lovers
- Where to stay in both regions
- Where to dine and sample the food of each region
- Where to shop for wines

One name we came across (which is lesss know to me), is the Matarromera group
