WTN: Knot "Halyard" NV Brut Sparkling Wine

Napa. 55% Chardonnay, 44% Pinot Noir, 1% Pinot Meunier
Picked up a couple of these for $26 per and popped one last night with my wife and a close friend. Probably the best domestic sparkler I've ever had. Very fine agressive bead. Flavors of lemon custard, brioche and granny smith apple. Was very impressed and tastes like twice the cost. Nice to see this type of quality comming from the States. They also make a rose which I also bought but haven't tried yet.
From the web site:
"The Halyard, named for the sailing rope, is a non-vintage Brut from 2006 and 2007 fruit, with four years en tirage. The wine is both full-bodied and powerful with a creamy finish."
