Not a particular insightful article...just some that he likes.
I didn't realize that the second generation of Hendry's were making wine. I've always like GeorgeHendry's Zins. Rather understated but well made. In the FWIW category, (young) GeorgeHendry was the lead designer of the UC/Berkeley Bevatron...the first cyclotron to reach the BeV range. Last I heard, George was still making small cyclotrons for medical use in a barn on his vnyd property there at the foot of MtVeeder. The Bevatron was shut down yrs ago and the bldg decomissioned, though it still stands...with some residual radioactivity in the bldg. Last I heard, they were wanting to destroy the bldg and haul it off to a landfill. But the good citizens of Beserkley were convinced people along the route would be dying like flies from the lethal radiation emitted by the bldg debris. Only in (Peoples Republic of) Berkeley.
