O.K. This is based off of only 3 bottles and one of those was opened back in April but I have just loved the 1999's that I have opened this year. The aromatics on these three are not like anything I have experienced in other vintages and all are showing fully resolved with great balance. Maybe its just the three bottles I have had and not the vintage but I checked my notes on the Long Meadow Ranch and I was not so thrilled with it in April 2010. All are so good right now that I am looking to reload where I can but all I can find locally is more Togni which I plan to buy if its still available after the new year.

Wines:
Dutch Henry Chaffen Vineyard Reserve (4/12)
Long Meadow Ranch (12/12)
Togni (11/12)

Hey Brian, I opened a 1999 Verite "Le Muse" in Sept. and it was fabulous so I would agree.

Good to hear, Jim. I've got one of those rotting in the cellar. It should be noted, though, that the La Muse is mostly (all?) Merlot.
