I wrote a note about this wine back in January saying it seemed unbalanced and too petrolly and also listing the price as $28.00. The price was mistaken--CellarTracker records showed that I paid $20.99 for each of my two bottles. David Bueker commented back in January that it sounded like the wine might have had some reduction at that time. Perhaps he was right or I may have had a flawed bottle. I opened the second bottle this past week and it was far better than the one in January. 11% abv. Pale straw color with transparency. Fresh, crisp, young tasting for five years after vintage. White blossoms with muted petrol on the nose. Really nicely balanced and attractive on the palate. Leans more toward citrus influences than stone fruits. Good match for turkey white meat and for boiled shrimp with lemon juice on two evenings. Glad to report that the earlier impression no longer holds for me.
