And a wee BloodyPulpit:
1. SanSakana: This was a "winery" that had a very good run for several yrs, making wines from purchased grapes at CrushPad there in SanFrancisco. BettinaBriz was the principal involved that I knew most well. They made some terrific Syrahs during their brief run, especially from LasMadresVnyd, one of Calif's great Syrah vnyds. So sad...I thought they were really doing a great job w/ their wines. I, of course, followed SanSakana from the very start...when MichaelBrill/CrushPad showed some of their wines at an early HdR. Alas, CrushPad has also closed and I believe Michael is off doing non-wine things nowadays.

2. BrokenLeg: This SanSakana is the only Viognier I can recall from BrokenLegVnyd. They also grow Pinot and Syrah there, with the Donkey&Goat being the ones I'm most familiar with. I sense it's quite a good vnyd.
