Tried this recent arrival last night w/ dinner:
1. JCCllrs Zin Isabel DusiVnyd/PasoRobles (15.5%) 2010: Very dark/black color; very intense blackberry/boysenberry/Zin some dusty/pungent/graphite slight herbal/roasted/Rhonish some toasty/oak very strong/intense Zin nose; soft some alcoholic/hot/fumey intense blackberry/boysenberry/Zin bit jammy/PR some toasty/charred/oak flavor w/ modest tannins; long rather hot/fumey/alcoholic intense blackberry/boysenberry/Zin bit dusty/graphite finish w/ modest tannins; speaks quietly of Paso Zin and strongly of JeffCohn winemaking; a bit on the alcoholic side but not to make it undrinkable; for modest aging before the alcohol takes over.

A wee BloodyPulpit:
1. This Zin presumably comes from the DanteDusi vnyd on the west side of Hwy101, across from BeniDusi's vnyd that goes to Ridge.
