Is there a prettier bottle than Perrier Jouet's Belle Epoque

The cynical will say that it's irrelevant, it's what's inside that counts. That's true but what is your vote for the most beautiful wine bottle/label?

No 1 Family Estate Adel Cuvee Methode Traditionelle must go close. $NZ125, getting well into champagne price area. The white spots are Swarovski crystals.

Speaking about bottles, I just bought Huet´s 2009 Cuvée Constance. Who on earth has designed this hideous monstrosity? A pink paper ribbon!?

I disagree that it's what's inside that counts. Setting, music (which is part of the setting),food and the bottle all add to the experience of the liquid wine itself. I have to agree that the Adel Cuvee bottle is pretty gorgeous!

I believe that he was referring to the packaging and not the contents, Matt! I'll happily stare at any of those labels at our next shindig, though!

p.s. I vote for this label:

A few years ago I purchased two bottles of Meeker handprint merlot. Drank 1 and the other is resting in the cellar. It is a delicious merlot and we use the empty bottle as a candle holder.

Well, it's definitely not this! (Cornelissen's MAGMA.)

I love the label on Haut Brion. (And almost always, the wine inside.)
I also love the labels on Egon Muller and Willi Schaefer's bottles. Both very elegant and understated.

FX's Unendlich is also pretty cool, though in a very different way.

Also, I might be inclined to agree with tooch on how lovely the Overnoy labels look, but it'd be nice if I could actually see one in person (or in my cellar) a bit more often. :P
