Hinterland Les Etoiles 2008
Prince Edward County (Ontario)
A 60-40 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Frothy mousse.
Light, bright, yellow in the glass.
Good beads of fine bubbles.
Doughy and bready, nutty and lemon on the nose.
Medium weight, good tangy acidity, clean, racy, green apple, lemon, creamy, refreshing.
Light bitter citrus rind, green apple on the mouthwatering and clean finish.
Purchased at the winery.

Champlain Brut NV
Domaine de Grand Pre
Nova Scotia
A blend of L'Acadie Blanc and Seyval Blanc.
Good frothy mousse
Light yellow in the glass.
Good streams of coarse bubbles.
Spicy, marzipan, lemon on the nose.
Medium weight, good acidity, marzipan, green apple, lemon, clean, crisp, mature notes, peppery, milk chocolate, ginger.
Mouthwatering, lightly bitter citrus rind, peppery and lemon on the finish.
Purchased at the winery.
