Picked up from the controlled climate section of a shop in South Carolina (that I could never find again if I tried). Brought to a friend's house for dinner. I do think the wine was a tad advanced, but it showed well, with some apple and lemon fruit alongside a bit of secondary forest floor and smoke. The youthful sweetness of the wine has definitely faded, now only being at a feinherb level. Good acids provide structure, and the finish is long and lingering.

A nice bottle.
