2007 Lamborghini Torami – this Umbrian blend of Cabernet, Sangiovese and Montepulciano, matured in French oak, was dark in colour with a nose of dark cherry and a hint of vanilla and spice. Medium body, medium tannins very good length and a slight enticing terminal astringency that I enjoyed. Better than the 2004, which was the last vintage I tried. I’d say this will be a medium term wine to be enjoyed over the next 6-8 years.
