A wee BP:
1. This is a producer I'd never heard of before. They make a range of interesting wines; Nebbiolo, Barbera, Favorita, Brachetto, Arneis. This dessert wine is made from late harvest Arneis grapes that have been dried several months. Arneis, to me, has a distinct earthy/stoney character. I was not able to pick up anything in this wine that suggested Arneis. It was a hugely grapey wine that may have been a bit on the simple side, but still quite tasty and lovely.
