WTN: Zenato Pinot Grigio 2011

Postby Bruce Hayes » Fri Aug 10, 2012 10:58 am

IGT Delle Venezie

Light yellow in the glass.

Pear, spicy, with a hint of orange on the nose.

Medium weight, quite rich, pear, lemon, a hint of orange, a bitter bite, good acidity, juicy.

Orange, a bitter bite on the mouthwatering finish.

Quite nice.

Purchased at $13.95 (Canadian).

Zenato's PG is an annual buy for us, along with their Lugana..Very reliable, year in, year out and reasonably priced.

Had a glass of the Zenato last night with She-Crab soup. Made a very nice pairing. I was impressed.
