WTN: 2006 Beaulieu Vineyard Reserve Tapestry

I bought a six pack of this for $24 per bottle and thought I'd try one. Decanted for 1 hour. Rich, elegant black fruit and currant with roasted coffee, toast. licorice and sweet blackberry liquor flavors. Very approachable now with good balance showing lush fruit. A very enjoyable bottle.

Thanks for the note, Drew. I know I have some Tapestry but not sure if it's the '06. You got a great price, too!

Alas when the 1995 cost $15.99...

JuliaB and I tasted the 2008 over the weekend. Ohio prices are usually high....supposed retail was $60 but they are closing out at $40. I liked the 08 well enough to buy one for cellaring although it is quite drinkable right now.
Cheers!

Ditto that. Mike. I went home with one, as well.

I should have mentioned that I purchased the six pack in 2009.
