Who else is staying awake to watch the results?

It seems America has spoken with a pretty clear voice, Joe. People want change; people want out of Iraq. How do you like that nail-biter in VA? Lawyers will be thicker than fleas on a mangy dog....
The big winner of the night for me? Joe Lieberman! I love seeing someone stick it to the two big parties. Lou Dobbs says the fastest growing party is the Independent Party. You can paint Carole and me with that brush. Here's a tip of the glass to you, Joe Lieberman!

I disagree about Lieberman. He became an Independent for the sake of expediency, not for the sake of change.

Precisely. Lieberman just refused to quit the race after losing the primary. Granted he won last night, but that doesn't make his switch to "independence" courageous.

I disagree. He is literally a man without a country. The Demos are pi$$ed at him and he can't lean to the GOP for fear of political suicide. I think it took courage for him to stick it out. He is pretty moderate -- exactly what we need in congress instead of polarized wing nuts.
