2006 Cambria Bench Break Pinot Noir

Very solid medium weight Pinot with nice smoke and cherry notes. Good supporting acidity and a decently long finish.

I tasted this wine at a silent auction charity event and then won a magnum of it for $30. I also won a double magnum of the Charles Smith "House Wine" blend for $40. The mags of Estancia Cabernet, standard bottling, went for more than $150 each! I guess it was because they were the only Cabs in the the auction. Very strange.
