WTN: I can see Clary now

2010 Arnot-Roberts Syrah Clary Ranch (Sonoma Coast)
It's been a long time since I tasted so much cracked black pepper in a wine as I did with this one. Lots of roasted meat as well, so the comments around the table were about the Rhone style of this syrah. There's a tart edge to the deep red fruit that keeps everything focused and refreshing. Delicious.
There behind the glass lies a real blade of grass. Be careful as you pass. Move along. Move along.
