We had a hard day yesterday, with lots of wind and wading in the 50F koi pond finishing up the framework for the winter cover. Janet: "Let's have some more of the love Chateauneuf we had two weeks ago."
Love that lady!
Deep purple red color, very deep hue, intense aroma of ripe fruit, spices and a pretty earthen note, lovely fruit, pepper and licorice notes, just a hint of oak, mild tannins, good acidity, great balance, medium mouth feel, high level of alcohol not at all noticeable, long, complex finish.
Love that wine. 5*.
