A most enjoyable story - thanks for posting it.

I really like reading news from the American heartland about this kind of thing - especially, however, when it centers on the new hybrids being developed, primarily in Minnesota, that enable viticulture to take place naturally in the continental climate encountered across much of the Midwest. In so far as there are grapes that do well in these conditions, it has always been my position to champion their development and propagation. But if someone has a suitable microclimate for vinifera, then that's good too.

That depends on where you stand. For some of us, snippets like this one really are of great interest.

Again, thanks for posting it.

When the rodeo is in town and we have visitors (the lady barrel racers) here at Doris Ranch, we have some mighty fine bottles of wine as gifts. One memorable gift was a P Sirah so some of these girls know their stuff. It`s not all BudLite around the BBQ pit here matey.
