Breaking news today that Constellation Brands has bought the famous Gaja family winery. In a joint press release, the two companies said that the merger provides a market for Gaja's intensely woody barriques as they become used up and are the property of Constellation, which will then benefit from the merger by creating a new product for those barriques called Arbor II.
