WTN: For Jenise...1999 Matthews Red Wine (Yakima Valley)

So I finally got to one of my bottles. While this is no heavyweight (except for the fraking bottle) it is still a very tasty midweight cab blend. It's a little bit alcoholic, but only just, so it should be fine with food. There's plenty of cassis and black cherry in there, with the originally massive wood faded into the background. It's good stuff. I'm sorry to say that your bottle/bottles may have been compromised Jenise.

Oh, and bonus Canada photo...Image

Terrific David, this is the first year/summer I have not been into the Rockies to do some butterfly collecting. So pics such as this one remind me of what I have missed this year!! I am usually in the Castle River area north of Waterton/south of the Crowsnest Pass.

David,

This is actually very good news, as I have six more bottles that just got delivered and which I hope were treated better in their early life than my bottle might have been (it was a supermarket closeout purchase ciirca 2004). Thanks!
