Malgrà Moscato d’Asti Cugnexio NV 7,5€ 5%

Sweet as Suvi. Fun. Ergo, it worked, though the personality of the wine isn’t quite as bubbly as the liquid, ergo not top quality Moscato IMO.

Fuller's Vintage Ale 2006 Limited Edition Bottle # 44797 8,5% 7,07€ (0,5 l)

I was scared of the 8,5% abv, but it wasn't noticable. What surprised me was that this is almost like a porter in its aromas: dark toned, malty, roasted, treacly - yet it still has a freshness from the hops. The palate begins sweetly with chocolatey malts well in evidence. It keeps on progressively drying up towards the end with the aftertaste being delightfully hoppy. I very much like it.

How do this types of beers change with age?
I don't drink wine because of religious reasons ... only for other reasons.
