Very dark. Sweet, ripe berry nose with a little creamy oak showing. Medium to full bodied, concentrated and very dry. The flavors tend to veer away from the fruity to more leathery and grilled meat. Well balanced and rounded out nicely already. Concentrated and a little tightly wound. Can be drunk with pleasure now but maybe another year will smoothen out the slightly tannic and very long finish. Probably not to everyone’s taste but outstanding for me.
